We had a speaker in class last week. He made a point that I very much agree with. He said you aren't a leader if you can't lead yourself. You have to start by knowing what you want and leading yourself in that direction. This goes with standing up wfor what you believe in. We all know our core values...now put them into practice when it comes to leadership. If you can't lead yourself, then you aren't going to be able to lead a group of people. So learn how to stand up to what you believe in. That is the start of leadership!
