When our speaker, Ashly McMillan, was talking about her core values...don't stand still is the one she seemed to stress quite a bit. "If you don't take a chance, you don't stand a chance." This is a quote she referenced, and I think it pretty much says it all. It's as easy as wanting to walk out the door...in order to walk out the door you have to take a first step. This easy concept is used time and time again in leadership. Sometimes I think it is overlooked. Leaders wonder why they aren't getting anywhere, and it's because they aren't taking the first step of action. So as a leader...don't stand still!
