1. Lead by example, you can't ask someone to do something that you would not do yourself.
2. Right now it impacts me because as a section leader in band, I can tell people to do stuff, but they won't listen or do it if I am not doing it. This impacts me in the future because this is a life lesson you should know. People won't respect you if they are held to a double standard.
3. Right now I need to stop and look at the things I do. Is everything I do representing a good leader? I have to act like a leader 100% of the time or people may think you are a fake.
